An intricate problem. Complex. A problem solvable only by bold action.

Gordian Travel International’s name was inspired by the Gordian Knot. International travel for the non-profit community is complex. We understand the unique challenges non-profit organizations face when managing travel, enabling us to cut through this knot.

Global – Your travel footprint is global and you have a higher ratio of international travel compared to the corporate market. You typically travel to “non-standard” destinations – these are standard for us. You change travel plans frequently and need to travel urgently to respond to situations.

Funding – You are funded in a variety of ways, from the federal government to philanthropic foundations, and through public & private donations. These funds can be restrictive and come with limitations. For many of our customers the Fly America Act is important, and you often need to reconcile to multiple project codes.

Risk – Not only are you traveling to fragile, and conflict impacted areas of the world, but your travelers typically have a higher risk tolerance compared to other markets. You need tools to track and alert travelers. You need 24/7 assistance from experts who know how to get you out of an area, or often typical of non-profit organizations, into an area when responding to disasters.

Gordian Travel International is able to unravel these complexities and so much more. We are   supporting organizations with their complex travel programs. The Gordian Knot, a legend associated with Alexander the Great, inspires us to take on challenges and solve the perceived unsolvable.
